Please note that due to the raw and unprocessed nature of our product, we do not utilize a heat-induced sealing method, which could compromise the nutritional integrity of the raw organic pistachios. Instead, we use a light adhesive on the inner rim of the lids that binds to our sterile tamper-evident seal. During shipping and transportation, the natural oils may get between the seal and the jar, causing the seal to attach itself to the lid.

If you take a peek under the lid, you'll notice a white foam liner seal pressed against the back. This is completely normal and does not indicate that the pistachio butter has been tampered with. The product remains 100% safe for consumption.
